Parent Education
Kids don't come with instructions! Connections partners with the PACT (Parents and Children Together) organization to offer parent education classes twice a year. Consisting of ten separate classes, the "Parenting with Conscious Discipline" teaches parents how to take everyday situations, including conflict, and turn them into valuable learning moments to teach your child impulse control, conflict resolution, social skills and character development.
Participants will gain a basic understanding of child brain development and lean how to use that information in everyday situations.
Free childcare is provided.
The class is funded by the United Way of Ellis County.
Class limited to 15 participants.
Class Facilitators: Sharon Beougher and Dana Stanton
Please call Connections at 785-623-2430 by January 17, 2022 to reserve your spot!
