HHS Staff and Students, After multiple attempts we are unable to secure a Football game for this Friday, October 2nd. Based on this information we have attached an updated timeline for the upcoming Homecoming activities beginning this Friday, Oct. 2nd with the Homecoming dance. Please take a look at the Homecoming schedule and mark your calendars for each of the events. FYI- The forecast for Friday for the dance is sunny with a high of 69 during the day, and then partly cloudy with a low of around 45 into the evening hours. It is highly recommended that you layer up a bit and get prepared for an enjoyable evening.

Senior Parents, the Hallway Decorating will take place THIS Saturday 10/3 and Sunday 10/4. Thank you for being flexible with the change in plans. Senior Parents, due to our home opponent for the football game on 10/2 canceling, we will be moving the Homecoming decorating to time to be determined. Hays at Garden City football info: Only 200 fans allowed for Hays. Entry into game allowed with a purchased ticket only available at Hays HS. About 30 tickets left at HHS to buy. Cash/check only with exact change, $6 adult, $4 K-12. Tickets will not be sold at the stadium, buy at HHS only.

This week, the senior class officers will be choosing a theme to go along with the 2020 Homecoming Theme: The Wild West. This Saturday and Sunday will be our hallway decorating time. I need parents to sign up for times to help break up the supervision for this weekend. I need at least 1-2 parents for each time slot. Fall Sports notifications: In accordance with KSHSAA guidelines, the Maroon and Gold Kickoff has been cancelled for August 28th, 2020 and won’t be rescheduled. There will not be a Fall Sports parent meeting. Each sport will now schedule its own parent night. More information will be coming in the near future regarding Parent meetings.
