Congratulations to DaVontai Robinson, 6th Place at 182 and Gavin Nutting, 5th Place at the KSHSAA 5A State Championship. Way to represent gentlemen!



Hays High Freshman Science Students





Hays High has put both Gavin Nutting and Davonte Robinson into the consolation semi finals at the 5A state wrestling championships. Both young men will bring home a state medal to go along with our first ever female state placer this year, Sarah Zimmerman.

DaVontai Robinson(182) and Gavin Nutting(220) went 1-1 today and will continue to wrestle on the consolation bracket for 3rd place tomorrow at the 5A State Wrestling tourney at Hartman arena in Park City.

Hays HS will host the 1st round 5A West substate boys game between Hays HS and Arkansas City HS on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00. We invite everybody to attend the game and cheer on the Indians!

The Lady Indians will travel to Andover Central for the 5A West first round substate game on Wednesday, March 4th. Gametime 7:00.

Game Day at Abilene!

Hays HS Games vs. Dodge City at HHS have been postponed to Friday, Feb 28th with the same start times and Senior to be recognized in between varsity games.

HHS Pen Pal Project at BOE meeting tonight.



Hays HS Senior Isaac Smith finished in 12th and 10th place respectively in the 50 yd Freestyle and 100 yd Breast stroke at the State Swim meet in Topeka. Great effort, Isaac!


More than $14,000 was raised tonight at our FFA Labor Auction. It was also a great night to thank Mr Vajnar for all he has done fo HHS. Thanks Curt! Go Indians!
